Private Parties

Private parties at The Banten House Tea Room are a unique and fun way to celebrate your event! The large room can be rented for $150 for a two hour party, with extra time able to be added for an additional fee. Private parties include: tables beautifully set with tea sets, glassware, china, fresh flowers and linens, private tea service staff, local taxes, gratuity not included. 

Our staff is dedicated to you enjoying your visit. This whole experience is about you having a great time.

That is why we ask for reservations. We have to be able to plan for your visit to make it the very best it can be.  

Private Party Policies:

  • Once a desired date/time slot has been selected and approved by the TBHTR, the space rental fee of $150 is placed to hold the date and time selected.

  • The space rental of $150 is 50% refundable up to 2 weeks prior to the event. Space rental fee is not refundable if cancelling within one week of the event.

  • The final guest count and payment for menu items chosen must be paid in full 48 hours prior to the event.

  • Outside cake/cupcakes are permitted, and includes display, cutting and serving. Other outside food is not allowed.

  • Please notify the tea room if refrigerator space will be needed for any food or drink items being brought in.

  • Gift table provided for private parties upon request, as well as designated counter space if needed.

  • No confetti or tape allowed for private events, and all decorations must be confined to tabletops. Weighted/free-standing balloons are permitted.

  • The BHTR allows entrance 30 minutes prior to the start of an event for the purposes of setting up, etc. with a maximum of 4 guests at this time, including the host/hostess.
